Alyson Fox's practice is guided by her creative process. She draws, photographs, sculpts, weaves, prints, cuts, collects, interviews and records. She always works in series. Being very interested in the exchange that takes place between the mediums with each other, the artist creates many of the same ideas by declining them on several mediums. This process is intimate, immediate and playful without being concerned with how something should look when viewed. The result is a bit messy, and that's what we're looking for.
