Madame Dessine
Magalie, aka Madame Dessine, is a painter-illustrator based in Paris. She began illustrating in the field of paper and crafts in Montreal in 2015, creating her stationery brand.
Since 2017, she has been developing a figurative pictorial work describing a poetic, minimalist, and contemporary universe.
In her work, Magalie mainly uses oil pastels, oil paint, and watercolor. Her modern and sensitive universe tells the story of everyday life scenes, of characters escaping into their thoughts, of unexpected encounters, of stolen moments.
